What is wrong with Black Republicans?

Filed under: National Politics, Racism in America - Cynthia @ 8:25 am

They constantly beat on a door and beg to get in and they are consistently being ignored. Why don’t they get it? It is said the Republican Party is family oriented, but whose families are they talking about?

This is an interesting article written by Michael Fauntroy about "What Black Republicans Should Do Now" as a direct result of the decision by the front runners of the Republican Party (the former New York Mayor – Rudy Giuliani, Senator John McCain, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, and former Senator Fred Thompson) who skipped a forum at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD, a historically Black college.

This should be a wake up call to Black Republicans. This action clearly demonstrates that Black people are unimportant to the Republicans and do not fit into their agenda.  Black Republicans should stop begging the Republicans for their crumbs. Their actions are shameless. You are not wanted! We are not wanted! Why don’t you get it?

I guess, Black Republicans are just wired differently from the rest of us…

  1. I’m with you there. It’s the frontrunner’s loss. Of course black Republicans can always go with the ones who actually made it. Or they could vote for the party that takes them even more for granted.

  2. I couldn’t disagree more. It is the blacks who have rejected the republican party and not the other way around.
Seriously, take a look at how black republican candidates were treated by black constituents in the most recent election cycle. Black people vote democrat, it’s as simple as that. If i’m a republican candidate (black or white) i’m not wasting any time or money trying to woo the black vote, it’s not worth it.

  3. Levoris, you are on point. It’s funny how black Republicans have been telling blacks for years that Democrats take our votes for granted, and now that they have been snubbed they use the line that the GOP doesn’t need black votes. Uh huh.

BTW, Cyn, congrats on your PhD and finally finding a job you like.

  4. Most negros have been spoonfed that they have to vote for obama. And they all follow inline like lambs to the slaughter. McCain needs to adress the problems that black people face… So many of them are drug addics, illetirate, un-employed and on welfare and robbing people and having too many babies. We need to solve their problems to make our streets safer and not have so many prisioners.

Just because “Osama” is a negro dosnt mean he can fix their problems. Yeah, and what have the f*cking demoncrats done for the country lately besides give more free gub’mint cheese to the negroes?

John McCain is the only cannidate that will fufill our presidents war on islam. What we need in these endtimes is a good strong coneretive anti-libaral, non-hippie who holds true to the word of our lord. I really hope WHEN McCain becomes president he lives up to the republican platform and ends abortion, criminalizes gay sex and marrage and stops de-regulashion. We need to invade andor nuke iran and all these terriorists before its too late. This is exacly what the bible pridected would happen if the world fell away from his word. Armogeddon is close at hand we must stop them as a global force and unite christians and live as the word would tell us. and wage war against the non-beilevers and democarats and libarals.

“The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance. He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.”

  5. TheHolyLord has spoken!

Kill muslims, imprison gays, put blacks in there place That’s a real Republican! The rest of the GOP are chumps! That should be the Republican platform! Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh should open up and tell how they really feel. I know they’re for these idea’s. People like you need to convince the GOP to come out of the closet and state those exact words you’ve stated! I think you should put together a coalition of “like-minded” republicans, and “force” McCain to state your idea’s as his platform Remember, you got “God” on your side…..(yeah right, you idiot!)
