Chemicals in Teething Rings

Phthalates are feminizing boys

Phthalates are chemical substances that make PVC plastic soft and flexible. They are widely used in products such as food wrappings, vinyl shower curtains, and cosmetics. They are also used in soft plastic toys and other baby products, such as teething rings and rattles. Phthalates can leach out of plastic over time.

A recent study looked at phthalate levels in the urine of 85 pregnant women, then studied the genital development of their babies. The boys from the most highly exposed mothers were ten times more likely to have impaired genital development than boys from the least exposed mothers.

Cheney & Obama are distant cousins. Don’t they look alike?

The VP’s wife, Lynne Cheney said she discovered that her husband of 43 years is eighth cousins with the senator from Illinois. The common ancestor was Mareen Devall, who the Chicago Sun-Times said was a 17th century immigrant from France. Mrs. Cheney said she discovered the link through family research for her new book, "Blue Skies, No Fences," about growing up in Wyoming.

Genetic Variation: We’re More Different Than Previously Thought

Filed under: Racism in America - Cynthia @ 9:49 pm

If people are at least 10% different, is race biological inexistent like some of us think? Many of us really don’t understand math and science and we make the mistake of making uneducated guesses based upon the little knowledge we have heard or think we know.

New research shows that at least 10 percent of genes in the human population can vary in the number of copies of DNA sequences they contain—a finding that alters current thinking that the DNA of any two humans is 99.9 percent similar in content and identity.

This shows who is in control of the government. These are the people that should be targeted instead of the immigrants. If corporations are fined if they hire illegal immigrants, the problem would be solved.

In a 22-page ruling, Breyer said the plaintiffs—an unusual coalition that included the AFL-CIO, the American Civil Liberties Union and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce—had raised serious questions about the legality of the administration’s plan to mail Social Security "no-match" letters to 140,000 U.S. employers.
