The thieves are on shaky grounds

Mortgage crisis: Millions can’t pay, risk losing their homes and Wall Street takes a big hit.

The housing bubble has burst. Now the house of cards created by the Wall Street robber barons in their mad rush for profits is also in danger of collapsing

Bubbles of Delusions

If you are religious, you do not want to listen to this You Tube video. It basically says that people who believe in religions are living in their own little bubble of delusion.

A planet of delusional people is dangerous because rational thought is replaced with superstition. In fact, the delusion of religious thoughts makes you discard rational thoughts. If you want to heal, you must be willing to live outside of your bubble of delusion.

If this was McKinney

Filed under: National Politics, Racism in America - Cynthia @ 9:39 pm

She would have been raked, this time, under the coals.  This is old, but still, it reeks of racism in the nation’s capitol…

Rep. Christopher Shays (R-Conn.) apologized Friday for an altercation with a Capitol Police officer Thursday afternoon in which the lawmaker repeatedly swore at an officer and touched his nametag to read it before storming away.

The officer and the Capitol Police could not be reached for comment.

Obama debate comments set off firestorm

Filed under: National Politics - Cynthia @ 5:23 pm

This is amusing. I guess no one told Obama that this country doesn’t want to make peace with Cuba, North Korean and Iran….

Barack Obama’s offer to meet without precondition with leaders of renegade nations such as Cuba, North Korea and Iran touched off a war of words, with rival Hillary Rodham Clinton calling him naive and Obama linking her to President Bush’s diplomacy.

Medical Apartheid: The Dark History Of Medical Experimentation On Black Americans From Colonial Times To The Present

Filed under: Racism in America, Health - Cynthia @ 4:38 pm

By Harriet Washington…

Please check out this Book TV [Cpan2) video, it is very enlightening. If you don’t have her book, you should really consider purchasing it. These are things that all Black people should know and pass on to future generations.

Journalist and medical ethicist Harriet Washington details medical research on African Americans from colonial times to the 20th century. She describes the "Tuskegee Syphilis Study" that began in 1932 and was conducted by the U.S. Public Health Service. Almost 400 African American men were withheld treatment for syphilis to study how the disease would affect them in its late stages. The author contends that this is just one of several experiments that shaped the way in which African Americans relate to today’s medical industry.

I’m doing a series of post on the fallacy of HIV over at "The Assault on Black Folk’s sanity".

Katrina victims in the news…

Filed under: National Politics, Racism in America, Health - Cynthia @ 9:55 am

This government has failed its people…

94% of FEMA trailers for Katrina victims contain hazardous levels of formaldehyde.

Trailers with floors and cabinets built with particle board containing the chemical formaldehyde. Under hot, humid conditions, formaldehyde lets off toxic fumes, especially harmful to young lungs.

To fix the problem, FEMA recommends that people should open their windows and turn on the air conditioner. I bet most of these people don’t even have enough money to buy an air conditioner, as if that would fix the problem.

Tales of racial cleansing in America

Writer finds hidden history in old records, newspaper stories. This country owes us big time!

Going against what is natural

Filed under: Religion - Cynthia @ 5:41 pm

The Catholic Church is a good example of what will happen if you go against nature. I would never subject my children to such deviant behavior from supposedly religious and god-fearing people. These acts are not unique to priests; nuns are also guilty of sexually abusing children as well as each other.
