Can you believe Bush will veto the war budget because the Democrats added $20 billion for the Katrina recovery/victims?

  1. Yeah, you would make it about Katrina while ignoring the deadline the libs are trying to push on Bush as well as all the other pork in the crazy bill.

  2. Of course I believe it. If the bill were wrapped in diamonds and tied with gold, Bush would still veto it. Unfortunately, he’s dead set against troop withdrawal in Iraq no matter how it’s couched. And he’s made it clear that he’s not listening to ANYONE but himself…as usual. SMDH.

  3. Why does it seem like a good idea to some to advertise a withdrawal date for the troops in Iraq? This defies common sense.

  4. No, what defied common sense was sending our troops to Iraq in the first place.

  5. Yeah, sending our troops to Iraq in the first place was definitely a bad idea what with a dictator like Saddam Hussein in charge taking out villages left and right, everyone thinking that he had WMD’s and with his friendly relationship with UN inspectors.

  6. You should have heard what I just said about that man. LOL I don’t think its fit to print. Anyway, would you like to host the next radical progressive blog carnival?

  7. Wow. Now that Saddam’s dead, I feel SO much safer now…it’s almost like living in a utopia. SMDH.

  8. Well this is the first time I heard about that. The Dems may have tried to do the right thing but it was probably a bad idea to attach it to a timetable bill.
