Immigration Detention Camps
The Church Secretary has a post called "Tuesday Tribulation" that briefly mention the fact that Halliburton has received a $385 million contract to build mass detention centers to be used in the event of an "immigration emergency".
Something instinctively told me that there was more to this story. Ironically, Halliburton was awarded this contract in February before the immigration protests. I’ve always thought that this was a bad move on the immigrant’s part because it exposed them. After all, they are here illegally and technically speaking, they are breaking the laws. So, the big question is – why are these camps needed?
A more detailed analysis can be read here.

Camps? We’re gonna build camps? Like concentration camps? Only for illegal immigrants?
The dejavu’s just keep on coming don’t they?
And jesusmaryjoseph! Is there anything we won’t pay Haliburton to do (and do badly)? Didn’t the government used to take bids for contracts? Or have they always gone to the VP’s company?
It appears Halliburton is goose that has laid the golden egg. In Chicago, this type of patronage is common place.

You’re right, Diane. Maybe they will toss in an enemy combatant or two into the general illegal immigrant population. Unfortunately no one knows what the definition of an enemy combatant is except the President who is sole person in the country who can deem someone an enemy combatant.
It sounds as if have a nice little dictatorship in the making.

Roderick,
An enemy combatant is someone, anyone, that the Bush Administration cronies have found it expedient to strip of their civil rights, especially as applies to due process.
Beyond this, I agree, no one except George W. really knows what an enemy combatant is. I think it’s this reich’s Jew.
